We owe them!? You have become contaminated living too close to that cesspool.

A gesture of good-will wouldn't kill us...
I know I would not show up. I am guess there are many that think like I do- why we haven't played them in years. I hope they stick to the plan and never ever play them again. And no, we don't owe them anything other than a thank you for allowing us to play on their fields. TECH would have done the same for them if needed.
Send them a thank you card and an fruit basket. Send one to Ruston and the city of Jackson too.
Is UNLV? Or UMASS? Or Bowling Green?
I wouldn't trade the SMU or Tulsa or Baylor series for one with ULM. And I wouldn't have swapped any of our past series with Army, MSU, A&M, Navy, USM, UNT, ULL, Houston.
But - I think that all things being equal (and we know they aren't - who knows if the dates would have worked, and I'd want the first game at home which wasn't the case with BG or UMass) I'd rather have had ULM on the schedule than UNLV/BGSU/UMass.

If we could get them in Ruston in 2022 and we went to them in 2025 or 26 - I think it would be a good deal. We need a home game in 2022 and the only other options may be Coast Carolina or Kent State.
