That was interesting. Let's just say Tech tried to give this one away late too. The last 5 minutes of a game is NOT LA Tech's strong suit.

Tonight LA Tech locked up no worse than the CUSA Tournament #3 seed. This leaves us technically tied with WKU for 2nd place in CUSA, as we both have a 12-5 conference records. Of course, WKU owns the tiebreaker over us by virtue of the head to head wins. BUT, Tech can still finish alone in 2nd place, with a win over Charlotte in the last regular season game of the year, combined with a WKU loss to FIU, who proved itself to be very scrappy tonight.

Wait! did I see that we fouled a 3-point shooter, down the stretch? He missed 2/3 FTs, so it kind of worked out. But you NEVER foul a 3-point shooter anytime and especially not late, in crunch time. We're not too bright.

We can still get that 2 seed, if WKU falters in their last game as you stated. I do differ with this being a 3 team race, though. I think we have some lower seeded teams that can pull off upsets. It is going to be a wild tournament.
