It is noteworthy that the dataset includes all the states that had high transmission early (NY, CA, CT), but doesn’t include any of the ones that are bad now (Texas, Florida, Arizona and the “Sunbelt”).

Did want to mention that three people, all in CENLA, posted on FB that they filled out paperwork to be tested, stood in line, and then either had to leave, or just got tired of waiting and left. This was a week+ ago. All of them report receiving a letter stating they have tested positive for the virus and should isolate themselves for 14 days. Now, I know what the skeptics will say...but I know one of them fairly well, and simply don't believe he/she is the kind of person to post something false like this.
I don't know...just seems suspicious to me.

Saw an anecdote in the comments of the Medium article Tech70 posted in the other thread and (Beda Stadler’s article, original from June 10, already proven wrong), where someone posted the following:

I have heard of 2 people in AZ and one in TX that signed up to be tested and then due to heat/long waits/other reasons left before taking the test. All 3 received a call about a week later that they tested positive…..and they NEVER even took the test. So, they are making up results to keep the control scam and the fake scare going. On top of that, these people are now on record as being positive (and thus traced) and they never even had a test actually done. So sick of all this B.S.
Could have easily happened in Florida and probably in Louisiana.
That is why we (especially Dawg80, in this thread) are tracking hospitalizations and test positivity rates. They are the most reliable data points we have for understanding the transmission trends.
Only depends if those numbers are legit and not fudged and who controls the numbers, to whom or what agency they go to and who reports them.
Now that it will be the while house that receives (rather than the CDC) the data for the US, it will no longer be trustworthy. My Texas hospital data is as good as gold though.

Now we will eventually get the real numbers. But those coming in will still be doctored in the liberal big cities. There will be some of the same people counted 2-4 times as positive and others counted that never got tested. Obama/Biden/Hillary’s “deep state” has probably infected, just like the Kung Flu, many local levels of the CDC and ADM as well.

Saw where hospitals will start reporting directly to HHS, leaving the CDC out of the loop, due to lag times, mistakes, over-reporting, etc... Also saw where there have been massive over-reporting in Florida and in San Diego. In the latter case I thought I heard that was done on purpose to inflate the numbers.
One official reported their office was getting stats on C-19 cases from the Atlantic Weekly Magazine which they said was more accurate than the CDC reports.
It's a mess. I do think NONE of the data can be trusted. Take it all with the ole "grain of salt."
