    New England replaced Brady

Many thought the Pats might select a QB. Nope they went the undrafted free agent route.

Wonder how long the rockstar will last in New England?

Dawg80, I guarantee you when New England fans see J'Mar play Brady will not enter their thoughts. Not thinking about him is not the same as forgetting him. But you get the point.

Word is that Tim Rattay will be the next QB coach for New England.

If anyone can get the most out of J’Mar it’s Bill Belichick. He is essentially a mob boss. You do what he expects or you find yourself gone.

Interesting interview yesterday on Fox's show in Ruston with an NFL analyst who covers the Pats.

It appears the Michigan State QB really is the camp arm. J'Mar is being viewed as a rookie who will either win the 3rd string job and be on the active roster, or at a minimum, be a practice squad guy.

The Pats believe he can immediately provide them with a scout team look each week, given some of what they'll face in opposing QBs throughout the season.

I hope - for his future - that he dives into the playbook and does everything he can to make this work.

That would be great for him. I hope he is ready to shine!

One of my friends from Boston --a diehard Pats fans-- called me a few days ago all excited about J'Mar being signed. I guess I could see J'Mar becoming a scout team player for the Pats. Hey...he's a fellow Tech alumni, so I wish him the very best.

With there being only seven rounds in the NFL draft, being an NFL UFA, especially awarded by Belichick, this really is a HUGE accomplishment.

I'm jus' happy he's gone. I'd be happier if Skippy was gone, too.
