Covid at UAB issues

Gameday is in Conway for Liberty at Coastal Carolina. But Liberty is waiting on tests to see if it can play.
If Liberty can't play, it looks like ESPN is going to bring in BYU as the replacement.
Who cares about how one good season? If I were a ULL fan I’d hate that our best team in years has to play in this toilet of a season. This whole season is one big asterisk. Should be enough to get Napier hired away and then back to square one.
That's not new news. It was basically canceled weeks ago and just made official today.
Still 34 bowls scheduled even though espn.com lists only 33 by not including the Arizona Bowl which is the only bowl game not on an ESPN/ABC outlet.
There were going to be 42 FBS bowl games this year (Fenway and Myrtle Beach new bowls) with 8 now canceled and two relocated (Fenway to Montgomery and New Mexico to Frisco).
https://thumbs.gfycat.com/AdeptSleepyFlea-mobile.mp4This puts CUAB in a pickle. IF the Blazers don't find an opponent for this weekend, they won't likely qualify for the West Div title. They've only played 3 conference games.
I really hope CUAB doesn't schedule a game with USM. Right now, that whole USM program is akin to a dead Bernie Lomax, the lead character in the Weekend at Bernies.
It's a done deal. CC will play BYU this Saturday.

So, while undefeated Marshall from CUSA was afraid to play BYU this week, the Sunbelt's Coastal Carolina was not. If I had one, my vote would go to CC before Marshall.
