FIU has canceled their game at UTEP on Saturday, Nov. 7 due to ongoing COVID-19 issues. No word on if it will be rescheduled.
DALLAS – Conference USA has announced the re-scheduling of seven football games that were postponed earlier this season due to COVID-19-related issues. All seven games will be played during the first two weeks of December.

The 2020 Ryan C-USA Football Championship is scheduled for Friday, December 18 at 7 pm ET/6 pm CT. CBS Sports Network will televise the game, which will be held at the school with the best regular season conference winning percentage.

....So UNT refused to travel to El Paso last week because they feared catching COVID in El Paso. They openly stated so. Furthermore, UNT tried desperately to get UTEP to move that game to Denton, TX, but the Miners refused. Now, only 5 days later, the same UNT AD who offered to pay UTEP to move their game to Denton has now "postponed" UNT's game against LA Tech this week. For COVID reasons.
Does anybody else see the irony in this?
It sounds like it's safer to travel to El Paso than it is to Denton.
