Looks like the Baylor game is a go!
Marshall adds Eastern KY on 9/5.
Should we stick at 11 games or add another home FCS or G5 (home or away)?
I am among those not expecting the season to make it very far (or to get canceled before it begins). But if you're going to play 11 (plus maybe CUSA championship and Bowl right?) then I don't see why you wouldn't go ahead and make it 12.
And if you're going to try to play 12, I'd try to wrangle a future home game out of this. Play @BYU or another G5 team and book that return game for some future season.
BYU still has an open date on 10/3, and so do we. I'm sure we could still get a home-home contract from 'em.

USM has 3 stars decide to sit out fall, two will transfer. ‘Too much uncertainty.’
Redshirt senior linebacker Racheem Boothe also announced Monday afternoon he will follow Turner’s plans — sit out this fall …
Now my question is... will fans be allowed? Will we have to wear masks? If masks are required, I am not traveling from central Iowa. Will fans be allowed at Baylor..?
Has TECH announced anything about how they will allow fans in games? I have seen other schools, but not TECH. For those of us that have season tickets, even if they let us in, many will not go. I'm guessing things will change/adjust along the way anyway depending on the COVID cases.

In the event that any of the home football games are canceled as a result of the public health threat of COVID-19, season ticket holders will have the following options:
- Credit towards the 2021 home season (features six games, including a non-conference contest against SMU)
- Apply season ticket purchase to the Louisiana Tech Athletic Club (LTAC) as a donation for this year (100 percent tax deduction)
- Full refund on games that are impacted
At this time, LA Tech officials have not made a decision on any limited seating (i.e 50% capacity in Joe Aillet Stadium) but will look to make those determinations in the coming weeks as more information becomes available.
Thanks. Hopefully they will not limit the students. Many of us that have tickets will likely stay away anyway. I get the emails from Baylor, so I know they did away with season tickets there and are refunding the money, or will apply it to next year. They are letting in very few students though, when one of the selling points to kids coming there is that every student has a ticket to the games. Interesting times for sure in 2020.
SFA plans to opt out of Spring football season-only play non-conference games in fall
Ohio State trying to create 10-game fall schedule along with Penn State, Iowa & Nebraska. Looking for 2 more Big 10 schools (Michigan & Wisconsin). Would play H/H games. Other B10 schools could opt in.
This entire thing is stupid. Just keep the regular old schedules and play the friggin' games.
