Political posturing? Maybe Trump and a lot of Christians, Liberals, Conservatives, Antifa... should actually open the Bible and read it. Particularly the New Testament and the story of Christ and his parables. Many of the early followers of Christ were hypocrites , the unlearned, and sinners.

That's right...BEFORE repentance. Anytime they fell back into their old ways, there was rebuke and correction.

So, if an engaged women in today’s society had a child and claimed to be a virgin...would you believe it? The son of said virgin was in conflict with the religious establishment of the day. The followers of this son were trash men, hookers, and thieves. Would you follow?

I'm not following your point...that's for sure. And no, I wouldn't...because of John 14:6. The savior is already here. If your point is that it's okay for Trump to be a douche because some of Christ's followers were douche's before they came to faith, I think it's a bad point. If your point is something else, please, let me know.

Definitely something else. Trump’s decision to walk across the street and hold up a Bible was nothing more than political posturing....The story of Christ is a radical message of love. A lot of current day “Christians” should read the story of the Good Samaritan and apply it to the context of Christ’s time.

The thought that many people will be swayed by Trump walking across the street with an Army and holding up a Bible to garner votes....

    I agree.

And, I understand that politicians posture and pander...but pepper spraying innocent people for a photo op is a bit much...which, I guess, is our new normal.

    Re: Terrorism

Facts were no barrier to their narrative. They spun a tale of violent, jack-booted cops running rampant through the streets over innocent docile protesters, using tear gas to clear the area. It turns out none of that was true.

Every single major media outlet falsely reported that Park Police were unprovoked when they used “tear gas” to clear the area. If any of that were true, it might mark the first time in history that cops without gas masks launched tear gas in an area that the president of the United States easily walked through minutes later.

After thousands of false tweets, print stories, and broadcast stories to the contrary, local journalist Neal Augenstein of WTOP reported that a Park Police source said “tear gas was never used — instead smoke canisters were deployed, which don’t have an uncomfortable irritant in them.” Further, the source said the crowd was dispersed because of projectiles being thrown by the “peaceful protesters” at the Park Police

Watch the video. The police aggression begins at the 29 minute mark. You can see it was a peaceful protest leading up to that.

No one knew that it wasn’t tear gas and rubber bullets, and was instead smoke and pepper pellets that was hitting them and causing their eyes to burn and choke. I wouldn’t have known the difference either if I were peacefully protesting and then started to get shot by projectiles and enveloped in smoke and stunned by flash bangs and my eyes were burning and I was choking.

In retrospect, they probably used this instead of tear gas because they didn’t want that to drift into the Rose Garden where Trump was about to give his speech.

The reporters on the scene confirm what you can see from any of the videos of the day - and there are many. No one was throwing stuff at the police.

Churches and synagogues not allowed to gather for services and prayer. Businesses not permitted to open. But rioters and looters roam free to burn and break into those same facilities. We are living our Revelation right now.

You should read some church history if you think this is persecution.

Where are churches not allowed to reopen?
