Poll: Black voter approval for Trump 41%
Result Friday after another week of racial turmoil
Published June 6, 2020 at 12:19pm
The conventional wisdom is that the racial turmoil of the past two weeks is damaging President Trump's support among blacks, but the latest Rasmussen poll of likely voters shows a remarkable 41% of blacks approve of his performance.
In the 2016 election, Trump won only 8% of the black vote, a typical figure for Republican candidates.
While some might view the survey by the "conservative" Rasmussen as an outlier, its finding in December of 34% approval among blacks was affirmed by an Emerson College poll that had it at 35%. And a Marist poll at the time found 33% of non-white voters in approval of the president.

That's great news. And it's just another example of how Black America is waking up to the fact that President Trump is very good for people of color. From obtaining the lowest Black and Hispanic unemployment rates in American history, to Trump's new Prison reform and Pardons of black Americans, to the President's full blown support of historically black colleges, no POTUS has ever done more for Black Americans in such a short period of time. And they know this.
I think many blacks in America also find a certain kinship to President Trump because they have personally witnessed him being unfairly persecuted (Russia probe, the Steele Dossier, Ukraine call, Impeachment, etc...) by a large and messy Justice system that has historically held Black Americans down too. They are watching, and they see that they are both (Trump and Black Americans) victims of a system that uses "witch hunts" and lies to reach a conclusion that is often unfair and unjust. For many Black Americans, they are concerned that they might get arrested simply for "being black". (Remember the lady in Central Park last week that called the police on a bird watching African American?) For President Trump, they see him being treated unfairly for winning an election that he wasn't supposed to win. Meanwhile, Gropy Joe Biden represents everything Black Americans detest; big government, low wages, high unemployment and most importantly, an unfair justice system, just to name a few.
This is going pay big dividends to President Trump at the ballot box in November. Black America is watching, and they like what they see in President Trump. He's the first president in U.S. history --Obama included-- to really connect with Black Americans. If you think America was shocked by Trump's win in 2016, just wait until America see's how much of the black vote President Trump gets in 2020.

Did y'all see that ridiculous display of Pelosi, Schumer et al wearing those silly scarves and kneeling? I thought they knelt so long because they couldn't get up!
The left is so pathetic (and evil) that they are laughable. We all KNOW this is nothing but political posturing, using Floyd's death as a prop. That is more disgusting than those who have rightly said, "well, George Floyd should not have been treated that way by those cops and it is right and proper that they face the music for their actions." Floyd was criminal...and then those 4 cops decided to become criminals too. I have no use for any of them.
George Floyd has now had funerals/memorial services in 3 different states. He'll be renamed "St George" if this keeps up.

Turbodawg says the retired officer, who is black, John Dorian (?? didn't quite catch his name since the media quickly kind of mumbled it), killed in St. Louis, dosen't matter. He was "standing guard" near a business to prevent looters from destroying it, and was shot and killed. He was on the wrong side of the argument, how dare he try to stop the holy looting! His life doesn't matter.
