Here's a couple of passages from one of his speeches (http://www.digitalhistory.uh.edu/dis...id=3&psid=3619). I had read some of his stuff as I did a paper on him in high school. Think I'll read more.
In this deceitful American game of power politics, the Negroes (i.e., the race problem, the integration and civil rights issues) are nothing but tools, used by one group of whites called Liberals against another group of whites called Conservatives, either to get into power or to remain in power. Among whites here in America, the political teams are no longer divided into Democrats and Republicans. The whites who are now struggling for control of the American political throne are divided into "liberal" and "conservative" camps. The white liberals from both parties cross party lines to work together toward the same goal, and white conservatives from both parties do likewise.
The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way: the liberal is more deceitful than the conservative. The liberal is more hypocritical than the conservative. Both want power, but the white liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the Negro's friend and benefactor; and by winning the friendship, allegiance, and support of the Negro, the white liberal is able to use the Negro as a pawn or tool in this political "football game" that is constantly raging between the white liberals and white conservatives.
...
The white conservatives aren't friends of the Negro either, but they at least don't try to hide it. They are like wolves; they show their teeth in a snarl that keeps the Negro always aware of where he stands with them. But the white liberals are foxes, who also show their teeth to the Negro but pretend that they are smiling. The white liberals are more dangerous than the conservatives; they lure the Negro, and as the Negro runs from the growling wolf, he flees into the open jaws of the "smiling" fox.
I mentioned "apples to apples" for the obvious reason of trying to determine if a black and a white committed exactly the same drug-related crime in a jurisdiction would they get the same sentence? If a black dude sells a pound of MJ to an undercover cop and a white dude does the exact same thing, in the same jurisdiction, are they ultimately treated the same by the judicial system? If they both get a 4-year sentence and a fine of $10,000, for instance, then there is equal application of the law. If not, and the white dude gets a lesser sentence, well then, I would say their racial inequality...everything else being the same. That being a criminal record or not? And other circumstances.
No more confederate flags at NASCAR. Progress.
Meanwhile dodo-in-Chief is resisting the call to rename military bases that are named after Confederates. He just doesn’t get it.
Does that make you happy? It is a shame that you are so ignorant about the history of the south and the so called education that you have received. Are you a tech graduate? You sound like some of the Rhode Islanders I knew back in the "50's while stationed at Quonset Point
NAS.
It is well past the time to move on. This is private business banning a symbol that is divisive and has historically been used to intimidate and represent views of white supremacy.
This flag largely was not used after the civil war until Southerners brought it back in the 50s and 60s to resist racial equality.

How can you NOT support NASCAR’s move?
I'm indifferent about the flag, but not about history. We are going to be forced to shut down all the national military parks in the south. Destroying a statue of Columbus? Come on man!
There's a 9-minute video of police body cams of the whole Floyd arrest, up to the point they put him on the ground.
Floyd is driving a minivan, with two passengers, a black man and a black woman. The van is stopped by the police who approach on both sides shouting for the occupants to hold up, show, their hands. Then the doors are opened and police command all three to get out. The two others comply and are escorted away from the vehicle by a single officer. Floyd refuses to exit the vehicle, he is yelling "Don't shoot me! You're gonna shoot me!" The officer says, I am not going to shoot you, just comply with my commands...please exit the vehicle. Floyd is half crying and pleading, "That's what y'all said last time and I got shot."
Pause...George Floyd was arrested and served time for armed robbery when he held a knife to a woman's throat as his comrades ransacked her house. Was he shot then, in Texas, when arrested? Apparently he was saying so.
Back to the video...eventually and very reluctantly, Floyd exits the van and is handcuffed, he is squalling like a baby the whole time. He is then walked toward another police vehicle, an SUV, and the officers tell him to take a seat inside. He refuses saying, "I can't breathe!" The officers inquire what he means, Floyd responds, "I am claustrophobic, I can't breathe." The police say, we will open the windows. This goes on for a period of a couple of minutes.
Meanwhile, the other two occupants are quietly engaged in a Q&A with the lone officer. He asks for ID, the man has some, the woman does not. The officer asks them how they know the driver. They deny knowing him. The woman says, I just met him, he's just giving me a ride. But then she incriminates herself, to that lie, when Floyd's cries of "I can't breathe." are heard, she says to the officer, ignore him, he's always like that.
Pause...remember, Floyd was stopped as he was identified as passing a counterfeit $20 at a store. During his cries he also mutters something to the effect, I can't go back in, they will kill me. He mumbles it twice.
The other two occupants are quietly, without incident, cuffed and placed into a police vehicle. One of the officers doing that was the one who ends up kneeling on Floyd. There is one black police officer trying to handle Floyd, as he refused to get into the vehicle, yelling, "I can't breathe." Only then do two more officers join in the attempt of getting him into the vehicle. You can then hear an officer say, okay, let's place him on the ground then. This is where the released body cam video ends.
On Facebook...Goosey's favorite platform...someone posted the released video is 14 mins long, and the other shorter versions have been edited. I have not seen the other 5 mins (yet).
In the comments on the video, there have been some interesting and accurate observations:
1. Floyd says "I can't breathe" about 30 times and most of those when no one is even touching him. The officer kneeling on him later probably thought it was just more of the same BS, and didn't assign any danger to the situation.
2. Floyd is clearly high on something, maybe meth. His behavior is irrational. Perhaps he had a legit issue with anxiety, maybe, and the drugs and the situation was causing him to hyper-ventilate.
3. The arresting police gave Floyd every chance to comply with simple commands. He was guilty of passing a counterfeit bill, was on drugs, and knew he was in trouble, especially a felon who had been released early, and would be facing a new sentence, plus the balance of the previous one.
4. Floyd never got violent, not in the 9 mins I saw. He resisted arrest...somewhat passively, by not cooperating, but he never engaged in any real violent behavior. But, he argued with the police the whole time, and kept pleading to be let go. Begging for a break, I recall him saying as much, such as "Please give me a break, let me go." That's about the time he muttered about not wanting to go back in [prison] and "they will kill me."
5. If these cops were nothing more than racist, evil thugs, bent on killing blacks, why did they treat the other two so gently, professionally...without incident? (maybe because they cooperated, hmmm...)
This video sheds a totally different light on the whole incident.
The autopsy showed he had Fentanyl, Meth, and cannabinoids in his system.
