Lost two, but gained five. Plus year.
I thought DeAndre Marcus had a lot of promise at RB. This is disappointing.
Did they, Floyd and Marcus, give any reason for wanting to transfer?

DeAndre Marcuswill "have three years of eligibility remaining and he told The News-Star he'll likely look to join a junior college program for the upcoming season in hopes to “go bigger.”"
So....we still need at least one more RB. And once these two seniors (Henderson & Tucker) leave after the 2020 season, we're apparently going to have an empty backfield unless we find some RB's pretty quick.
Marcus’ departure leaves Tech with just two running backs with significant playing time in redshirt senior pair Justin Henderson and Israel Tucker for 2020. It’s possible that head coach Skip Holtz and his offensive staff could be looking to add a tailback via the transfer portal this offseason to help with depth concerns at the position.
We are thin at RB. Only four listed on the roster, two RS-Sr, a RS-Fr, and a true Fr. Possible I am not seeing the latest roster. There is a 2021 RB commit (who also happens to be a Ruston High guy as DeAndre Marcus). Wonder if Holtz is going to try another WR to RB conversion like he did with McKnight. Are there any other skill players on this team not listed as RBs who might have some experience as a RB in high school?
RBs were available locally, but our coaches have been sleeping on the job. Holtz said in a recent interview that Craft did a great job of replacing Kenneth Dixon. He continues to ignore Boston Scott and his body of work at Tech
Speaking of our 2021 RB commit.....

I will be SUPER impressed with Skip Holtz if he can hold Hargrove's commit. Hargrove has got a lot of schools chasing him.
Louisiana Tech landed Hargrove’s commitment on May 12 during the dead period and since then he has added offers from South Carolina and Florida State with more likely to come. Baylor, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, and Boston College are his other reported Power 5 offers.
Hargrove would be wise to consider that Dixon and Scott are in the NFL and if he wants to make a splash, to stand out, then Tech is a place he can do that. Rack up some big numbers, go high in the NFL draft...just saying.

Stay home in Ruston Hargrove.
