People only tried to defend the anti-mask position because Trump took months to embrace it. And that is one the reasons that the disease is still spreading, now at record levels, in the US while most of the rest of the developed world has it under control.

People taking an anti-mask position are not following Trump or anybody else. Those wearing the masks are the lemmings. Most aren't even wearing the proper mask or wearing it properly. You have no proof that lack of mask wearing is a reason for the recent spreading. There is MUCH more proof that it is due to lack of distancing. Young people are spreading it and likely from up close summer gatherings including riots and destruction of property parties.

" Wearing a mask". For years, people (adults. teens, adolescents, toddlers and infants) whose immune systems have been compromised because of an illness have worn masks when they were out in public. Asians have done it for years.
