I doubt it matters about the buyout for this game, but that clause (if it exist) has already come into play. Anybody know what the buyout for the game is/was?

Do we know what Baylor is waiting on to make its' decision between choosing to play LA Tech or Incarnate Word for its' lone OOC game this fall? As I've previously stated, this is a decision that shouldn't take more than about 5 minutes to make. What's the holdup?

If it's us, Baylor will need us to change the already agreed upon date.

Because it's obvious they want to play Incarnate Word, and they don't know if they can play Incarnate Word because the Southland Conference doesn't know if it's going to play its season, yet. When the Southland makes a decision then Baylor can move forward.

The answer is no. Baylor will play its non-conference game on September 12 and lists September 19 as an open date. Big 12 play starts September 26 at home against Kansas.

Southland Conference is announcing today that they will NOT play conference games until spring, but will allow members to play OOC (read money) games this fall.

They know they can’t prove a direct link from playing but they’re betting they’ll get a settlement to stay out of court .
