Is Amik injured? He doesn't appear to be sniffing the field
Well, someone has to be on the inactive list because a maximum of 48 players can be on the active game day roster (see details for 2020 here -> https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...njured-reserve). It's disappointing Amik was not on the game day roster. Maybe the coaches felt they needed more depth at other positions for the game. With Sneed getting playing time and playing so well, Amik is probably going crazy trying to figure out what he needs to do to get in the game. Hopefully Amik will get some playing time soon.
Honestly, I think his undersized stature is catching up with him at the pro-level -
The modern receiver is so big and strong, he maybe finding it hard to adjust at the next level

Some good stuff on Sneed here.
Amik needs to figure out how to get taller at 22 years old. A first team All-American didn't get picked in the fourth round because he didn't play in some bowl game or becuase he went to a G5 school, he got pickd in the 4th round because he is 5'8" tall.
Amik will get a shot at some point. He was active for the Raiders first game but didn't play as a coaches decision. Not sure if he has any special teams skills, guess the Raiders feel not. He just needs to be ready when his chance arises.
Your last sentence is the most correct one. The NFL plays 16 regular season games a year, plus playoffs. And, injuries happen every single week in the NFL. So, Amik will get his chance at some point. He just needs to be ready when it happens, and take advantage of it.
