I don't think he made it into the game. If he did he didn't record any stats. But he was not listed as an inactive.

He will get his chance as the defense figures out how to defense. Hopefully he flashes in practice over the next few weeks. Gruden will def give him good opportunities. He loves those “grinders”

It said a lot the Cowboys could have signed Earl Thomas or trades for Jamal Adams and didn’t.. then signed former pro bowler under mccarthy Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and cut him in training camp (losing $2.5 million). They trust X, Goodwin, and Donovan Wilson (Woodlawn-shreveport and A&M alum)to handle the safety positions. Cowboys have very versatile DBs.. wouldn’t surprise me if X even played some corner this season if Trovon Reed slides to safety in some situations.

I agree with your comment on X. He's a great cover guy, but IMO, he's an extremely good tackler who might help the team more by playing closer to the line of scrimmage.

Agree, open field not as much but in the box run support he’s good. I think Mike Nolan will figure it out.

Lock leaves with a shoulder injury and Driskel is on deck.

UPDATE: Lock is out for the rest of the game. Driskell is going to finish it out.

Just about to come post that. A lot of injuries in the early games. Makes me wonder if no preseason is taking its toll. Drew Lock, Parris Campbell, Cam Akers, Saquan Barkley, Nick Bosa, David Montgomery, Solomon Thomas, Brashad Perriman all out in the first quarters of their games.

    Cowboys look terrible today.

Driskel settling in now, trying to engineer a pretty impressive comeback.

Speaking of comebacks, it has now happened again for me. The Dallas Cowboys just kicked a 46-yd FG to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 40-39, after trailing the Falcons by 20 points for most of the game. The Cowboys even recovered an onside kick with 1:53 left to get a shot at the FG. WHAT A COMEBACK!

This was just COMEBACK WEEKEND for me!

That was nuts! Best part was the hapless Falcons not realizing THEY could touch the ball before it went 10 yards on the onside kick.
