We ended up losing to aTm 59-57 in that 2012 epic...due to missed 2-pt conversions. Not to mention a blocked PAT which they ran back for 2 pts, a 3-point swing.

95% of the time chasing points..i.e. going for 2 multiple times, ends up costing that team a close loss. Last night MTSU left 3 points on the field with missed PAT attempts.

HBU’s late 2pt attempt to tie against Texas Tech last week was a play similar to our 2pt attempt against A&M. It was a pass out wide that had little chance of success. Did MTSU try that too against UTSA? I haven’t seen the highlights. Just seems to me far too often coaches call 2pt conversion plays that have less success than a rushing play or run-pass option might. Easier said than done I guess.

This GA Southern vs ULL game is awful. Looks like two high school teams playing. The score is 10-10 as we start the 4th qtr. Both teams badly need new QB's. GA Southern is 4 of 11 for 92 yds passing and has rushed the ball 40 times. ULL's QB is 11 of 22 for 170 yds passing, and ULL has 137 yds rushing.

Seriously, the style of play reminds me of when we were playing freshmen football in high school. Very conservative, boring game.

UTEP is spanking ULM 24-0, on the road, early in the 3rd QTR. The Miners also have possession of the ball and are driving deep in ULM territory again. ULM looks like the shell of a football team.

Great start for USM going up 14-0 and getting a turnover in the first five minutes against Tulane. Then Abraham threw a pick and it went downhill fast.

USM didn't want to be there in the second half.
