Yep, and the insurance company has tons of data on how much a typical diabetes patient will spend on drugs and treatment over a lifetime, or at certain stages, whatever. Then they will factor that in, calculate the finances of it, and charge what they think is a reasonable premium/deductible.
As I said in my earlier post, there is hypocrisy on both sides, but democrats whining about it is kind of funny since they are the undisputed champions of it. Regarding filling the SC seat in an election year, Sleepy Joe was against it, then he was for it, now he’s against it. It’s all about who’s in control.
Every other type of INSURANCE product uses the law of large numbers. Don't take care of your house, you pay more. Drive like a fool or have a bunch of teenage drivers, you pay more. Don't take care of your self or have an unfortunate illness, you pay more. NOPE! Not anymore. You are rewarded.
BTW, type II diabetes can be reversed. Ever hear the left begging people to eat properly?
