    Huge news!

Biden has zero respect for Americans, the Constitution and the rule of law! He is a pure puppet of the regressive leftist Socialist and the violent neo-nazi’s and commies of the Democrat Party.

The regressive Dems are so immensely corrupt. Anything for their fanatic causes is legal to them. Reminds me of Islam as well as the Nazi culture and mindset.

Senator Lee (R)-Utah just absolutely nailed it. His comments should be mandatory viewing at every law school in the nation from now on. And his comments should be replayed at every Senate confirmation hearing from now on too. An awesome reminder of the true role of the judicial branch.

Senator Ted Cruz (R)-Texas...just made a great point. So far, not one dem on the committee has addressed Judge Barrett's credentials, her judicial record, but instead have been grandstanding about horror stories based on their fear-mongering and of course, political attacks on President Trump. That is not surprising, and it also points out everyone, including the dems, have to agree that Barrett is immensely qualified to serve on the SC.

But, it is still early, so maybe later a dem Senator will question her judicial record. We'll see.

11 hours of hearing? Really? ACB just went thru an intense hearing in 2017 during confirmation for the court of appeals seat. Many of these same stupid dem Senators grilled her then. It's all grandstanding and an attempt to attack Trump and try to make political points.

I did note that Feinstein said "130 million Americans" have their "healthcare at risk," and Durbin said "23 million Americans" stand to lose their "healthcare." The dems are usually good at using the same talking points since each one is a low-IQ moron and dependent on what their puppet masters tell them to say.

    On her faith...

while attacking her, or anyone, on her faith is out of bounds, it is fair game to question how her religious beliefs will manifest in the prosecution of her duties as judge/justice. I know it sounds like an awful thin line between the two, and it is, but for anyone WE have a right to know how personally held beliefs, convictions, values will affect decision-making. For instance, I would be VERY, VERY uncomfortable if an orthodox Muslim was being considered for a judgeship. Would they try to apply Sharia Law, instead of THE LAW? That would be a fair question to ask.

Well, in this case, ACB has been sitting on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals for three years and I think I heard yesterday (maybe I didn't hear it correctly...) she has already issued an opinion on 95 cases, most of those she agreed with her colleagues. So! if I were a dem Senators sitting on the committee, I would have my staff take a hard look at her rulings the past three years. Any cases of an obvious faith-lean in her opinion?

Sounds like a religious test to me.. Wonder if they would ask the same "religious" questions of someone of any other major religion?? Highly doubt it.

Lol. All but 2 of the judges are Catholic/Episcopal - the others being Jewish.

Matters not. It’s a matter of how strong your faith is and if you truly practice the teachings of Christ or the Talmud. Sleepy Joe, Biden, Pelosi and Harris have been questioned by their Cardinals about their lack of following the teachings of Christ, the church and faith coming up way short. You’ve read the opinions of their church and it’s leaders.

The point is - there is a religious test to be a S.C. judge. If you aren’t Judeo-Christian, you aren’t getting picked.

    Re: SCOTUS: It’s ABC

Anyway...say bye bye to obummercare and hopefully Congress will...well, hopefully Congress will stay out of it and let's have a real market-driven HC insurance system. Yeah...right. And two, bye bye to Roe! Then the states will have to take up the issue of murdering babies. Some of the socialist states will, and the good states will not. So, if a woman wants to murder her baby she will just have to go to a state that has it. But no, nada federal taxpayer dollars to it. Then, I suppose there's always that hope, that someone, Congress/SC, will make it a federal crime to murder a baby and that will end it. Never give up hope.

    Re: SCOTUS: It’s ABC

And, wow! how impressive is ACB! An adult among little children (the dem Senators). She is so superior in every way.

Not going to rehash the stupidly insulting questions asked of her. But, she just showed her superiority, her adulthood, by not lowering herself to their level. Not sure she could go that low even if she tried.

And, this is from me! Okay, this is ME speaking now...

...it is awesome that an ultra-lib seat, Ruthie baby, is being filled by a true American! Every time someone mentions RBG I fist pump! Now, some are concerned that this will open up other issues, like court packing by the left. Well, of course they will. But you celebrate a victory when you get one. Yes, this is just a battle in the war against communism. But it is victory and you take it and fight the other battles when they come.

Finally, I laugh every time one of the stupid dems demand that she recuse herself in cases that might somehow involve the current sitting POTUS or one of the hot-button issues. Nope! No more than one of the sitting anti-Trump lefty justices will recuse themselves.

I was thinking about this this morning...

How many times over the past several decades has a democrat selection for the SCOTUS voted in favor a conservative issue? Republican appointees have voted in favor of non conservative issues many times.
