It is smart. There is no chance of anyone believing there is a story that isn’t there, and he makes it clear he is a married man. Very respectable.

It is difficult to respect anyone that got her start in politics in this manner. Of course the words from her mouth would take any of the respect away as well. She is not someone for young girls to put on a pedestal for sure.

She got her job as a prosecutor well before her relationship with Brown, who landed her appointments with state Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and later to the California Medical Assistance Commission...not exactly fast track roles to high political office.
About a decade after her relationship with Brown, she ran for and won the DA of San Francisco political race.
She got her start by sleeping with Brown- I guess the oldest "profession" out there. For her to act like it was her brain would be a lie.
Which start was that? Her first elected office was a decade later, as a DA, her qualifications for that job being a prosecutor, a job she had before she met Brown.
If you think her appointment to an UI Appeals Board or a Medical Assistance Commission gave her a jump start in politics...you will believe anything.
He (Brown) admitted that he helped her with her DA and AG campaigns. Even as she was Senator, and POTUS candidate, he was providing advice to Harris.

Pence provided the first "not bad" night for the Trump campaign in forever. Harris didn't torpedo the Biden campaign. Things remain mostly unchanged...which is bad for the president.
I thought Harris's biggest missed opportunity was not showing the disparity between the work of the COVID task force and the actions of the President. She should've praised Pence's work and the guidance they put out...then asked him why the President didn't seem to follow the task force recommendations.
