She got her job as a prosecutor well before her relationship with Brown, who landed her appointments with state Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and later to the California Medical Assistance Commission...not exactly fast track roles to high political office.
About a decade after her relationship with Brown, she ran for and won the DA of San Francisco political race.
If you think her appointment to an UI Appeals Board or a Medical Assistance Commission gave her a jump start in politics...you will believe anything.
Pence provided the first "not bad" night for the Trump campaign in forever. Harris didn't torpedo the Biden campaign. Things remain mostly unchanged...which is bad for the president.
I thought Harris's biggest missed opportunity was not showing the disparity between the work of the COVID task force and the actions of the President. She should've praised Pence's work and the guidance they put out...then asked him why the President didn't seem to follow the task force recommendations.
