Luke Anthony needs a good showing. He had a really awful game against UTEP.

I think the O-Line needs to have a good showing. Chances are one will result in the other.
RB Brenden Knox 2019 Highlights. Their OL is good. They really help dictate the running lanes for Knox.
Marshall is a good team. I don't think we've beaten a good team. More than that, we got drummed by the only good team we played. I'm scared.

Skip expects at least one, if not both, of the starting tackles to return against Marshall.

Holtz said last week was the worst offensive performance he could remember. He obviously forgot about those 12 games in 2013
Hardy breaks alot of tackles for a WR. He's also really good on the sideline. I hope we dial back on the tunnel screens and quick slants and intentionally get the ball in his hands. I think that's what will open things up for Hebert as well. As for RB, start Tucker, Henderson is a drive killer and he's not much of a threat receiving. On defense, we have to pressure with the LB's and/or safeties. I simply don't think we can cover good teams by dropping more into coverage. Better off hoping to force errant pass by bringing extra heat. To that point, Levi Bell needs to play more.

We're gonna have to get the ball downfield some early to loosen em' up a bit to get our short/yac passing game going. No lack of playmakers on offense but gotta get them the ball consistently. I guess we shall see this week if we are better than we have played in the last two weeks or are we really that much worse than BYU. UTSA demonstrated that BYU isnt as good as I thought. They scored on two 30+ yd passing plays and two FGs, so they did struggle a bit in red zone to score TDs, BUT they only gave up 27 pts and we looked like the JV squad playing the varsity squad. Win or lose this week I hope we put together a performance that gives us all hope. We still control our own destiny to finishing first in CUSAW.
Get the ball into our playmaker's hands. Hebert has good hands and is a playmaker!
We have VERY GOOD receivers. Adrian Hardy (13 catches), Smoke Harris (16), Wayne Toussant (7), Griffin Hebert (8), Cee Jay Powell (11), and Isaiah Graham (6) are all proven play makers. They know what to do with the football. However, they have all been desperately under-used so far this season.
Our team has got to get past its' QB and OL problems, and start getting the ball into the hands of these playmakers.
Anthony is too focused on making the pass more than just making a play happen. Noticed that since the first game.
His game winning TD was an example of it working out, but another QB would have probably attempted to run it in. Whether that would have been successful or not is unknown, fortunately for us.
