O/U was 72. Arkansas State had 8 passing TD's. Yet with all of that scoring still 9 punts. 13 scoring drives under 3 minutes. No interceptions in the entire game, each team fumbled once. I understand with Covid no spring ball and less than ideal fall camp, but defenses have been horrible this year. You would think a few games into it things might start to improve, but last night was crazy to even watch.

Say what you will, but I enjoyed the game. Kinda reminded me of A&M/Tech 59-57 shootout.

That's interesting. USM's game against FAU was also "postponed" last week. And this is Charlotte's 3rd game to be cancelled (UNC) or postponed (GA St, and now FIU).

They should. But unless they end up in the playoff they won't. As they are not in the G5 they have no path to the G5 New Year's day spot.

It will be interesting to see what happens in November and December. BYU has 3 open dates late in the season. Any Pac 12, Big 10 or Big 12 school with a sudden opening in the schedule because of an opponent's Covid issues is going to be pressured to play them.

Ducking them means having to justify to the selection committee why your league deserves a bid over BYU when one of your schools could have played them but would not.
