His little juke/jump cut move in that highlight video was Ryan Moats-esque. As was his ability to drag a defender or five (when he was touched). I hope he sticks!
Like you I hope this recruit sticks. Unlike our last RB recruit, I think we have a few more things in our favor this time. I do not think this guy will be a P5 recruit, he is small at 5'9" and 169-180 pounds (accordng to recruiting websites) and is only a 2-star recruit. Not sure what this bit of publicity might bring. I guess it would only take one P5 offer, if he wanted to go to a bigger school, but he goes to a pretty small high school (around 350-375 students). Currently he has 4 offers, us, East Carolina, Arkansas State and ULM. The only thing I worry about is he lives 30 minutes from Hattiesburg, not sure if he would want to stay closer to home. I am sure he is going to keep gaining weight (muscle) as he gets older. This guy could be great at Tech.
