Let's hope he has something left in the tank when he gets to LA Tech.

Clearly he is the entire office with that many carries in a game. Defenses probably only game plan to stop him, yet he can still average 7.4yrds per carry.

After rushing for 400+ yards and scoring 5 TDs, he says, "just another day at the office."

Marquis just broke the Mississippi single season rushing record. According to 247 he still only has four offers: us, ECU, Arkansas State and ULM.

Could it be that he plays in the MAIS and those schools don’t get as heavily recruited?

I do think that is a big part of it. Yes, he plays in a small-school private league, not anywhere close to the New Orleans catholic league. He is also on the small side. His workload in college with be nothing like high school. The only real concern I have is Southern Miss. He lives about 30 minutes from campus. I do not think a Power 5 offer is in the works for him, PWO at best. Hopefully he sticks, it will be fun to watch him transitition to college ball.

I think his size is more of a hindrance to bigger schools than what HS he plays for. If he can catch, we will utilize him like we do Smoke.

We did alright with Arkansas's leading HS rusher. Be happy to have a rushing leader from MS.

At 5'9, 180, Marquis Crosby's height is right between Ryan Moats (5'8, 210) and Kenneth Dixon (5'10, 210). He's taller than Ryan Moats and Boston Scott (5'6, 203). He will of course put on a few pounds as he matures --just as we all did.
