BTB Endowment

The posters over at Bleed Tech Blue have started an endowment for Strength and Conditioning with the goal of being fully endowed within three years. I understand that while the endowment may have "BTB" in it, its purpose is for something we can all agree needs funding. I humbly ask that some of you guys make a donation large or small so that we can create something that will outlast us all. If you by chance know anyone interested in contributing please pass the word. I started this because of the inspiration of a BB&B member who created an endowment for TECH many years ago. Yes, Tech78's endowment was one of my inspirations for doing this. I am hopeful some of you will donate to both these important endowments.

This money is going to Strength and Conditioning and once fully funded the endowment will be there long after we are gone. Any donation by alumni and fans is a huge step to get Tech closer to the goal. Regardless of whose name is on it, its a big positive step for our athletic program.

The S&C coach just got a raise. How much did they put him down to be giving?

We are trying to get to $25,000 to have it fully endowed and after that we will grow it as much as we can annually. The Athletic Department is coming out of pocket around $25,000 a year right now so it will be a while before we can get to that. However anything helps.

I just wanted to bump this. A $25 donation to this endowment would go a long way towards helping an underfunded part of our athletic foundation.

We have already gotten 20+ contributors to the endowment and are quickly closing in on our goal. Any donation from my Tech brethren will help endow a vital part of our athletic department.
