Chattanooga runs the kickoff back to apparently retake the lead, but a fair catch signal was ruled made by an upback (there were two waves, but dubious to rule as a fair catch) to nullify the return.
WKU wins 13-10.

Army accepts invitation to Indy Bowl, opposite a PAC-12 team. Wow! many schools haven't even played a game yet, and Army is already in a bowl. I am kind of surprise Army has jumped so soon, especially on the Indy Bowl. They should end up with better options. Oh well.
Y'all see that Penn State-Indiana finish!? PSU had only to take a knee and walk away with a 21-20 win. Instead, they scored, 28-20 and left IU a 1:30 to score and tie it up.
Years ago I was at a Natch Central vs. South Lafourche playoff game. NC led by that same score 21-20, less than 2 mins to go and SL had burned their last timeout. NC faced a 3rd and 2 around their 40. The NC RB burst thru the line, picked up the first and was racing down the sideline, I was screaming "Fall down! Go down!" He scored and it was 28-20.Then some fans turned around and called me all kinds of names...the least offensive of which was "stupid" and "idiot." Well..NC had led 21-3 at the half but SL had gotten their passing game going in the 2nd half. Sure enough, it took SL four plays to score, now 28-26, but the 2-point conversion was just barely tipped away. SL recovered the on-side kick, about 30 seconds left. The red-hot SL QB was sacked, tripped as he was rolling out, and they were forced to clock it. Now 3rd down and long, 15 seconds left. He threw a perfect pass into a tight window, complete down to the NC 30 or so, the WR stepped out of bounds. A few seconds left. SL tried a long FG and hit the upright...no good, NC escapes with the 28-26 win. Walking out of the stadium, a fellow who fancies himself a football expert, and he did play in the SEC, at Ole Miss, I think, says to me, Man! you are an idiot, look at that score, we needed that TD to win this game, and you wanted the RB to fall down!? Ah...could have taken a knee twice and walked away with a 21-20 win. But, I did enjoy the exciting final two minutes, I said.
Ask Penn State who was right about taking a 21-20 win.
Ya know...it might have been Central Lafourche...whatever.
