You forget, it’s called peaceful protest when things are broken, looted, burned, and shot at. It’s terrorism when someone uses their words at a school board meeting.
In today's clown world.. "threatening" teachers is simply disagreeing with them on subject material taught to children. There have been many examples of where "teachers" have actively instructed students to "keep" certain material from their parents..
School Boards are now eliminating "new topics" on agendas.. so parents or any others are no longer allowed to discuss anything that is not on the agenda.. If you do, or attempt to do that, you will be removed from the proceedings.. There is no way to openly bring up in a public setting things before the school board. Things must be submitted via online.. where if the board doesn't want to talk about it, it will be summarily dismissed or forgotten about. Not put on record.
Some good things are happening in North Carolina.

There are big concerns that the European energy crisis could hit the U.S. Shame that just a year ago we were energy independent and had low prices.. Yesterday WTI hit a 7 year high at $78.00/bbl and natural gas is around $6.00 mmbtu. People gonna be cold this winter.. pay very high energy bills.. Prediction is that mid terms swing in Republicans favor even more..
Are Manchin and Sinema going to hold the line against all this spending or are they going to cave? I saw some comments on chat boards, but no news.
Don't count on Joe Manchin for anything. When I lived in West Virginia I was shocked those people kept electing him (first as Governor then as Senator).
Joe Manchin is relishing the attention. That's what he does. He will compromise on everything he has said to make the media love him again.

On May 28, a Republican-hating woman called Rand’s DC Senate office threatening to “shoot you all” to our staff member. She was never charged. Yet if you dare express indignation at a school board meeting about CRT or forced masks, the Biden DOJ and FBI say you’re a criminal.
I'm sure there are people on here who support the DOJ and FBI's actions.

Any school board member who allows this should be recalled and replaced ASAP.
