Right...the threat of anything related directly or indirectly to the supply going down causes the price of GASOLINE to go up the next day or the day of. I understand supply and demand, but these price increases are a reaction to the unknown (but they really know). These price increases are minor compared to what will happen when he takes office and begins the "green new deal" BS.

The price that refiners expect to pay for crude oil that will be delivered in 3 months doesn’t drive their cost of crude that they have already bought and refined into gasoline. The gasoline you bought in December was made from crude bought on contracts that had already been executed before we knew Biden won.Right

Wow! you really don't understand how it works. Not surprised. They know now! And also know what will happen. Yeah, they have prices locked in in current contracts, but they are looking beyond that. And of course, in the consumer market the retailers have to measure what their competition is doing and price accordingly. But they are all looking to raise prices together.
Doesn't matter...once the wackos get their paws on policy making oil prices and gasoline prices will rise accordingly. And the worst part will be the US losing its energy independence status, and as a net exporter, and that placing us back at the mercy of foreign markets/powers and driving us into new wars....which the Dems excel at.

We haven’t seen a Biden bump at the pump. That isn’t what is going on now. Will it happen in the future? Maybe. But there are much larger macro factors driving the oils futures price than Biden (Saudi Arabia production cuts, anticipated demand and rig counts).
There are always a myriad of reasons which drive markets and prices, but there is also always a large umbrella that overshadows them all. In this case, it's the coming demise of the US energy sector due to you leftist wackos.

Just heard that Ukraine will indict Joe Biden for his role in the quid pro quo scheme. The US does not have an extradition treaty with Ukraine, but ironically there is the Mutual Law Enforcement Agreement with Ukraine that was ratified by the Senate in 2000, with then senator Joe Biden presiding over the procedure. John Kerry is also implicated and perhaps even Barry obummer too!
