Yep, he should be on here squawking about how a REAL LEADER would have kept the Omicron variant out of the country, similar to what he said about keeping the virus out initially (but then it was Trump, so he just played stupid...at least I hope he was playing). He should be pointing out that the virus has been successfully repelled by all the critters of the Galapagos Islands, because that is where competent leaders reside (adults, if you will).
Goosey has proven to be wrong 99.9% of the time. I thought he might know a little something about the stock market and last spring he made a recommendation on an ETF. So, I said okay, and bought 100 shares just to see. Well....what a dog. It paid one tiny dividend and fortunately I dumped it at a modest profit of about $3/share, so I made $300! Woo hoo! But that is one lousy ETF. Maybe he knew it was a clunker and wanted me to buy it in hope I'd lose money. Certainly was a waste of time and resources. Oh, not to mention he poo poohed buying AMC stock. Hah! I made a killing on that.
I think he was posting stupid stuff on purpose, just to stir the pot and to try to get to us. I hope he's not as dumb as his posts make him appear to be.

Read an article by Newt Gingrich on the whole Joe Manchin vs. Biden's White House matter. Newt has a firm grasp on history and cites Senator Byrd's run-ins with Bush I's WH staffers during budget negotiations in the early '90's. He also invokes other historical examples. Newt mentions those and later his working with the Clinton WH, much to the chagrin of Senator Byrd, who blasted him for circumventing the strict legislative protocol/process by daring to work directly with the administration.
Byrd told Gingrich that party affiliation was secondary to the separation of powers mandate. Newt, a (R) was trying to work with President Clinton, a (D) and it was Senator Byrd, a (D) who strongly "asked" Gingrich not to. Rather Byrd wanted the House (Gingrich was Speaker of the House) to work closely with the Senate, of which Byrd was leader, and together write a bill that the president could sign or reject. Whatever faults and flaws Byrd had, he did appreciate how the federal government was supposed to conduct its business.
I love listening to Gingrich when he is interviewed and always read his published articles. He knows the history of the government and also has a clear vision of how it SHOULD function. Newt writes that the amateurish Biden WH, and his clan of goofy staffers, have totally bungled the Manchin issue and not only have they lost his vote on this matter, but they have lost his vote on the next matter, and maybe several others to follow after that. Byrd lectured Bush I's WH staffers on how the cow chews the cabbage. That they were NOT elected, they did not represent any constituents, they had worked on Bush's campaign and were rewarded with appointed positions, and it was Congress that controlled the purse strings and wrote the budget(s). Joe Manchin is cut from that same cloth as a West Virginia senator, but not a Grand Wizard of the KKK as Byrd had been! Anyway, the goofy Biden staffers have been read the riot act by Senator Manchin...know your place.
I posted after the Dems stole the two Georgia Senate seats that the nation's near-term fate rested with Senator Manchin. Glad he has put the country first and stepped up to the plate.
