Sierra club members actually would prefer a world with absolutely zero humans inhabiting it, including themselves.. When I would travel to Denver while working for an O&G company, we would go out for lunch on 16th street mall. There would be anywhere from 6-10 young 20 somethings in green vests trying to talk to people and get them to sign a petition. When they would approach me and ask me if they could talk to me, I told them "you really don't want to talk to me". They kept trying to talk to me and I finally told them that I work for an O&G company and I support fracking.. The look on their faces was priceless and they immediately let me go on my way.
So at today's WH Press briefing when asked about why Biden and family didn't wear masks last night... Response was "Because they were celebrating". This is no joke, and it was not challenged of course.. Could you imagine if Trump admin had said this?
For those who aren't aware of the flurry of EO's signed yesterday... Biden signed EO mandating masks on all federal property then immediately went to federal property and didn’t wear a mask. Nor did his family and fellow celebrators.

I just quoted what was said. Not my words. But here in the US, “gas” is ambiguous because it commonly used to refer to either a state of matter, gasoline/petrol or light hydrocarbons we burn for fuel (whether methane rich or propane rich). In order to know what someone means when they say “gas” you have to see/hear the word in context.
So, how many people did Biden add to the unemployment rolls today and yesterday with the stroke of his pen? How many people died of Covid today and yesterday on Biden’s watch? Let’s keep running tallies the way they did for Trump.
The first unemployment report for Biden comes out in a week (they come out at 7:30 am on Thursday mornings for the previous week). It reports initial jobless claims and continuing claims, so it really just tells you how many filed for unemployment.
Obviously anyone that died from COVID today got sick before Biden was POTUS.

The average incubation period is 5 days, with the documented range being between 2 and 14 days. Classic bell-shaped curve with 80% of the cases after about 5 days of incubation. So! in about a week from now we should see a reduction of 80%+ of cases. Biden would have been president long enough by then.
A reduction in transmission rate doesn’t necessarily mean a reduction in total cases, but should result in a reduction in new cases if the Rt is less than 1, which it should be if folks are wearing masks.
Xiden starts at 48%. Below where Trump finished at 51%, where Trump started at 56%, and where NObama started at 67%.
