This is in regard to foreign policy... NOT Covid-related, just in case anyone would be wondering.

I just brought myself to watch a whole segment on MSNBC's stooooooooopid Morning Joe Show. Little wonder those who rely on and believe the nonsense of the lamestream media are so ignorant and vote the way they do. The blatant lies, the spin, the self-righteous "oh, look at us, we know so much" (while telling lies) attitude. The funny thing is all any thinking person has to do is do an Internet search on the topics discussed and they would find articles from MSNBC.com that debunk the crap they just spewed.

    Just a lil aside...carry on.

The exact same thing could be said about FoxNews. These hyperpartisan infotainment sources lobotomize their viewers and turn them into tribal shills.

They are trying to make it harder for rich people to avoid paying the taxes they owe. Bottom earners that get most of their income from wages are already ratted out by their employers.

They are not going after the rich. They are going after the bottom earners. Keep up the mantra (lies). You people seem to enjoy that.

I wouldn't call any $600.00 transaction a "rich" person's transaction.. that said people will find ways around it. For example: When I was in O&G we had limits to what Engineers and Production Managers could approve from a budget/financial standpoint. So if an engineer only had 500K approval authority, and he wanted something for 2.5M then he would have the vendor send 5 separate invoices of 500K each over a period of time so that he could approve it and it not go to Sr Leadership.

600 is the minimum, which has to be set somewhere.we will see how it gets codified. Could aggregate amounts from the same source over a period of time.

The breaking up into smaller invoices to get around delegation of authority is a good way to get fired for breaking corporate controls. A culture that tolerates that is a major red flag.

Never came up...he was a CPA for years and years, so I'm sure he has an opinion.

How many business, which still report and pay taxes properly, will require cash payments just so they can avoid the constant nagging from the government?

Not the ones this regulation is intended to hit. And of course if they do, and get busted, any good faith attempt to comply penalty mitigators might get disregarded.

Give me examples of somebody (the rich as you said), using $600 payments, taking advantage of the current allowable banking rules. There's not a bank around that won't pick up on multiple transactions and shut them down even for a couple of hundred.
