Sounds a lot like "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it." Except this time we already know most of the junk that is in it. Including the unneeded army of 87,000 new IRS agents.

All the uproar over migrants being bussed to New York and DC, while the real story goes largely ignored. January can't get here fast enough to start grilling the regime over this mess.

The Services PMI index crashed from 47.3 last month (50 means no change in growth from the previous month) to 44.1 (fairly deep contraction). This index was forecast to be at 49.2 (small contraction from last month).

Getting harder for the regime to deny that we are not already in recession and possibly headed for worse.

If student loans were enacted into law, a law change is required to forgive the loans. Executive actions should easily be invalidated as no EO can overrule established law.

Delaying collection or suspending interest due to extenuating circumstances like the pandemic probably should be allowed. Simply wiping the loan debts off the books as if they never existed should not be.

If Sleepy can wipe the debts off the books, a future president should be able to reinstate those same debts in full.

If they can claim predatory lending practices for student loans, then the rest of us can claim the same for our car and house loans. The only way I could buy those things was by bank loan. Since they wouldn’t give me a car, I was coerced into borrowing money.

The S&P Global Flash US Manufacturing PMI fell to 51.3 in August of 2022 from 52.2 in July, below forecasts of 52, and pointing to the lowest growth in factory activity since July of 2020, amid muted demand conditions and production cutbacks. Output contracted for the second successive month. Higher input prices also served to dampen customer demand, as some firms stated that clients were monitoring inventories and essential spending more closely. New export orders fell solidly as inflationary pressures in key export markets weighed on demand. At the same time, manufacturers registered the slowest rise in cost burdens since January 2021 and signs of improvements in supply chain disruption emerged. Meanwhile, manufacturers recorded a greater degree of optimism regarding the outlook for output over the next year on hopes of stable supply chains and increased customer demand.
