    Re: President Biden

Isn’t it nice to have a POTUS who signs executive orders with a regular pen (instead of thick sharpie) and doesn’t show it to the camera to showcase his giant signature?

The little things that signal normalcy.

Gas prices going up as we knew they would...just a market correction per our resident market experts. Nothing to do with paralysis of the O&G industry

That's why the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed. The power to elect senators needs to be restored to state legislatures. If a senator goes against their state's wishes, they would get recalled.

The Founding Fathers set up the system so that the Senate wouldn't become the politically entrenched body that direct election of senators has created.

Expectations of economic recovery associated with the approval and production of a number of COVID-19 vaccines is perhaps the most significant demand-side factor in crude oil price changes,” the federal administration said in a report earlier this month. “Vaccine efforts have contributed to a broad increase in prices across most asset classes and commodities, reflecting market expectations for economic growth.”

However, the demand for gas is still fairly low, AAA reported Tuesday.

“The higher price of crude is outweighing sustained low gasoline demand and a build in gasoline supply,” said AAA spokesperson Jeanette Casselano McGee. “Motorists can expect gas prices to continue to climb through at least the end of the month.”

We can expect gas prices to increase through the middle of November 2024.

This is something that would be agreeable to 90%+ of the country if asked. The problem is that the "people" don't get to make that choice. The only way term limits will be instituted is that Congress would literally be putting in legislation to put themselves out of a job, and also an extremely lucrative opportunity that has existed for decades. There is a reason that people who go to DC end up having net worth over $1 million in just over a year, when their salary is only $175k and turn that into tens of millions or more within a decade.

That's why senators should be serving at the pleasure of state legislatures. They could be recalled tomorrow if they go against their state's interest or serve almost indefinitely if they serve well. And it would remove most of the incentives that generate the unseemly wealth that accrues to politicians.

Save term limits for representatives. 12 years or six terms lifetime with a ban from serving as a lobbyist for the same amount of time served in Congress plus the amount of time served in an executive regime.

You have zero idea what you speak. Our nation needs to go to as much to natural gas for the future as possible! It’s the cleanest burning fuel and most efficient on the planet that works economically without liberal drug head dreaming of rainbows and unicorns. We are the Saudi of natural gas and can be big supplier of the free world with natural gas and LNG!!
    You know zippo!

They weren’t talking about natural gas. The next sentence makes it clear they are talking about gasoline.
