Yes, but the Chicoms were tinkering with it and it got out of the Wuhan lab. Patient Zero was a woman who worked in the lab. Some reports said she was a technician and others said she was merely a "cleaning lady" (janitorial staff). Regardless, due to carelessness...and that Chicom woman scientist who was booted from a Canadian lab and then later the UNC lab, was a key manager at the Wuhan lab...the virus got out. It is probable that Patient Zero, that unfortunate woman, spread the virus over a period of a week or more.

Now I hear that this might have occurred in October, 2019. Patient Zero's death is still recorded as November 17, 2019. It is possible that she contracted the virus in October and lived for several weeks to mid-November.

It is also a fact that both Japan and Australia sources were screaming loudly, but being ignored, early on. It was finally some connection to the US...I think the CIA...who picked up on the chatter and activity in and around Wuhan and compared notes with the Japanese and Australian intelligence sectors. In November of 2019, the US made diplomatic overtures to the Chicoms expressing concerns and offering to help identify the virus, etc...but, just like the Japs and Aussies, we were rebuffed.
