They are working toward the future. This is a just in case they are not able to control the votes in future non-pandemic elections.
Remember last fall Pelosi was at a press conference and asked about a House committee writing rules about the 25th Amendment. She was asked, "Is this aimed at Trump?" She was surprised by the question and stumbled around and finally said, "Well...if he gets reelected." Clearly it was, and is, aimed at Biden. Oh yes, they are hatching their evil plans.

It has been 40 days since President Joe Biden’s inauguration, and he has not held a solo press conference.
A reporter asked Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Monday if President Joe Biden is scheduled to independently address the White House press corps.
“Not yet, but we will definitely have one,” Psaki said. “We will schedule it, and you’ll be the first to know. Cause you’re pivotal participants in that.”

Biden notably answered very few unscripted questions during his campaign, at which time former President Donald Trump nicknamed him “Joe Hiden.”
Breitbart News reported Biden told CNN the strategy of “hiding” in his basement during the coronavirus pandemic has worked “pretty well.”
Indeed, perhaps Biden is using the same approach during his presidency.
Trump’s administration, during his tenure, claimed he was “his own best spokesperson” and said, “He’s the most accessible president in history as all of the media knows. Just yesterday, he gaggled two or three times with the press.”
Former President Barack Obama held eleven solo press conferences his first year.

It’s amazing how quickly we went from the most accessible President ever to “who is the President?”. Essentially, the most powerful leader in the world is on the same level as the leader of Estonia. Equally as notable.
I’m beginning to doubt Hiden Biden even gives a State of the Union speech.
I don’t miss the Twitter tantrums. The adults are back in charge and the calm is a welcome change of pace.
And don’t forget that Trump stopped the press briefings when the news on COVID kept getting worse. Biden reconstituted those immediately. Biden appears when he thinks it will help (like after the House passed the COVID relief bill to speak directly to the senate), but otherwise he lets the people he appointed do their jobs.
