You are correct. And perhaps nothing irritates me more about our LA Tech leadership than THAT!

I think our LTAC guys are put out with me because I voiced my real opinion about Skippy several weeks ago. They went dark after those last two games against TCU and GA Southern.

The buffoon governor of West Virginia didn't like Doc. The gov is an MU grad, Doc is a WVU grad. The gov is on record wanting to bring back his friend and MU legend Bob Pruett back as head coach. Problem is Pruett retired in 2004 and is now 77 years-old.

That’s literally all that matters in Ruston. For a few years, we got a bonus of being better than USL, but that’s gone now. The only way we get rid of Holtz is retirement or losing to ULM. Anybody from this board could manage a 6 win season in this conference.

Even though the end result is the same (you don't work here anymore), not renewing someone's contract is not exactly the same as firing someone. How long is "Skip" under contract? It seems like it is for quite some time.
