More than eight months ago, Louisiana Tech head coach Brooke Stoehr met her team in the tunnel of The Star in Frisco as the Lady Techsters were exiting the court just moments after being told the Conference USA Tournament was canceled due to COVID19. Eight months later, LA Tech is tipping off again Wednesday against McNeese State.

This should be a win, but times are different - Who knows? I would expect we are just much more talented than McNeese, especially since we ran over them last year. Glad to get to see some basketball again finally!!!!!!

Techsters up 28-2 end of first quarter.
28-2 after the first quarter. I k ow it’s McNeese, but love the tenacious of this team. Long season but not bad to start.
53-18 at the half. 44 is good.
And can I just say I love some sports are back?
Yes!! The intensity and energy is obvious. Great to see. Can feel it and hear the stands.

With better competition we might be good. Not sloppy and some incredible plays. I will reserve judgement, but this one is any the team I thought it would be.
* not that is. 44 and 21 are special and Quinto and her back up are the best points I’ve seen in awhile.
