Not surprisingly the hammer never struck again.

CUSA is 0-4 with two more to go today. Right now it's...
ULL 10 UTSA 0 2nd qtr
WKU 7 Ga State 7 2nd qtr
CUSA has already cemented itself as the worst FBS conference. But two more losses today will just be icing on that cake. Yeah, baby!
Getting ugly, really ugly. CUSA will be 0-6 in bowls. UAB was fortunate to take their Tallest Midget trophy and not have to lose in a bowl.
UTSA hasn't stopped a ULL run play all day.
Also, a UTSA DB just dropped the easiest "Pic 6" you've ever seen in your life. I'll never understand why UTSA can make those kind of plays against LA Tech, but can't do it against ULL.
Score is ULL 24, UTSA 14, 6:33 left in 3rd Qtr.
UTSA making a game of it now...24-21. Go Runners!
Ga State 30 WKU 14 3rd qtr
UTSA just drove from their own 11-yd line to score a TD in about 3 passing plays. Score now ULL 24, UTSA 21.
UTSA looked real good throwing the football on that drive. They might want to do more of that.
UTSA --with Frank Harris at QB-- has run the QB keeper a lot in the late 2nd Qtr and particularly in the 3rd Qtr. ULL can't stop it. It has made all the difference in the world. Although the score is still 24-21 ULL, UTSA is threatening to score as the 3rd Qtr ends. The Roadrunners will have the ball with a "1st and goal" on the ULL 7-yd line, when the 4th Qtr starts.
I don’t totally hate UTSA although I certainly dislike them from a Tech perspective. Having said that I’m really hoping they lose their bowl game today just like the rest of the teams representing this bottom of the barrel conference. All this losing makes it that much clearer how bad Tech has become under Holtz when he can’t win a conference championship in a conference of losers. What an embarrassment it is. If all this patheticness doesn’t tell AD Wood that we’ve got to make monumental improvements right now then we’re in seriously deep shit.
Well, UTSA QB Frank Harris pulled a LUke Anthony. ON 3rd down, he had a TE open on the Goal line, but he waited FAR TOO LONG to get the football out of the hole, and blew it. UTSA forced to kick the FG on 4th down at the ULL 4. Lost opportunity for UTSA to take the lead.
The score is now tied 24-24, early in the 4th Qtr.
Right now ULL is looking as bad as LA Tech. The Cajuns have gone from leading 24-7 in the 3rd qtr, to having the score tied 24-24.
ULL gambles and goes for it on 4th down and 1 at the UTSA 12-yd line. The Cajuns get the first.
No doubt, Holtz would have kicked a FG there.
The gamble pays off for ULL coach Billy Napier. Three plays later, the Cajuns score a TD as their RB goes in standing up.. ULL now leads 31-24, with 7:16 left.
ULL just CANNOT stop UTSA's QB keeper. (A play Skip Holtz N-E-V-E-R runs)
