Absolutely we should keep Skippy. He will win more bowl games in the future. This year was different as the teams who really did not want to play a bowl game opted-out. They are more Miami's and SMU's in his future, don't worry. Also the streaks and stats that really matter are still good. For instance seasons without a conderence championship, it's nine and growing. Also consecutive seasons without being ranked in the final polls, well we are perfect there, never ranked in a final poll as an FBS school. The Skip streaks live on, seemingly forever.

Big 12 wins the Bowl Challenge Cup at 5-0 with Iowa State's 34-17 win over Oregon.

The last question of bowl season is whether the ACC will tie C-USA at 0-6.

The Aggies are 9.5 point favorites. I think the ACC can tie us.

Nope. Just like OC Tony Franklin --who officially retired this week from MTSU-- he ain't got it anymore. Holtz's shelf life has expired as a head coach.

Sorry, but it happens. The trick is to figure it out before it hurts your program.

And the last question is answered. ACC goes 0-6 as projected just like C-USA did. ACC, Big Ten (3-1), Big 12 (5-0), C-USA, Pac 12 (0-2) and SEC (6-2) all finished as projected.

Among the rest the MAC (2-0), MWC (2-1), and Independents (2-1) all won one more game than projected.

Only the SBC (4-1, -1 win) and AAC (1-5, -2 wins) finished with worse bowl records than projected.

Can’t believe Mack Brown took the ball out of his best player’s hands on two consecutive plays...like he could play smash-mouth with A&M.

Bowl record 0-6, Conference USAwful better have a gathering of Presidents and ADs getting together to collectively decide to get their acts together and this shit show improved before this crap conference gets even worse. As for Tech and Woods, now is the perfect time while everyone else is as bad as Tech or more so worse to jumpstart the program and get a head start on leading the pac and finally at over due long last winning the conference championship and getting ranked. All it’ll take is putting Holtz on notice that mediocrity is failing and requiring that he hire some capable and aspiring coaches and not keep his tired old buddy coasters. If Holtz is even capable of it, he should coach his coaches on strategy and leave their specialties to them. In other words quit trying to micromanage every facet of the game. There I’ve established the formula, now the powers at be just need to act on it, it’s not that hard.

Bowl games are all about match-ups, whose motivated, and what players play and what players don't. Which P5 conference is the Big12 better than, the PAC 12 maybe?

Is the Big12 represented in the CFP?

The NFL scouts seem to agree with me. The Big12 has been last in draft picks among P5 conferences in each of the last two years. Maybe the Big 12 will do better in the 2021 draft.

Or maybe the Big12 champion will make it back to the CFP next year and not get beat 63-28.

    I agree concerning CUSA.

Nothing in Holtz's history indicates this is probable.

His best players did not play...they had opted out. This was a depleted UNC team, a mere shadow of itself.
