I went back and watched that play, and my heart skipped. That’s text book how to break your neck, and I’m surprised with how the impact happened that he didn’t. That’s why when you tackle someone, your supposed to keep your eyes on the ball carrier all the way through the tackle, and that won’t happen. Scary stuff.
The UNC QB may have been the best still playing but 90% of the rushing attack and 40% of the receiver production opted out.
CBS says only one bowl game worse than ours and that was the Appy State beatdown of North Texas. CUSA sucks in every way possible.

Everybody needs to quit saying "CUSA Sucks". They need to start saying "We SUCK".
CUSA didn't play these games.....our individual schools did. CUSA doesn't employ coaches, recruit athletes or make changes to football programs. Our schools do. So, people should say "UNT SUCKS!" and "LA Tech SUCKS!"....etc....because that's the truth. To be fair, maybe that's what CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod should say: "Hey, don't blame CUSA.....it's USM that sucks. Not CUSA."
Passing the buck to CUSA is akin to a child hiding behind momma's skirt.
We suck so bad that we even suck at sucking!
Question about Clemson vs. Ohio State. Would the result have been different if Ohio State had suffered the wear and tear of a full season?
Absolutely it would have been different. Dabo wouldn't have whined like a little child about how unfair his team was being treated and the advantage Ohio State had. He wouldn't have voted the Buckeyes #11 in the coaches poll. So if those two things had not happened Ohio State wouldn't have been mad and maybe not as motivated, so the beatdown might not have been as bad. But then again this wasn't the worse beating Clemson has taken in a major bowl game with Dabo as coach. West Virginia beat them 70-33 in the Orange Bowl. And LSU beat them pretty good last year in the national championship game.
It was not doubt an advantage for Ohio State, but this was a crazy season. Had Ohio State played a comparable number of games I think Ohio State still wins, while the final score could have been closer. We will never know. But remember Ohio State was without 22 players in the Big Ten championship game and 16 players against Clemson. They are a pretty good team.
I seriously hope Dabo learned a valuable lesson about not motivating the other team, but judging by his post game comments that does not appear to be the case. As college football fans we have come to expect either Dabo or Jimbo to be whining at the end of the season about being treated poorly, this year we got to hear both cry. They should heed the advice of the late Al Davis, "Just win baby."
Cant stand Dabo. Cringeworthy is a nice way to describe him.
