Beating a P5 team that is not very good is better than beating a very good G5 team. It just gets more press and that is what we need to keep building and recruiting.
We have a chance to do that this weekend. Just beat TCU.

Don't know what is taking so long. My investigation took about 30 seconds. The reason it took so long is the video is 23 seconds long, I wanted to do a complete investigation.
Seriously is anyone shocked the money shake still happens?

That might be a tall order for us this year. Has anyone told Skip that this is a bowl game yet? He needs to believe that, if we are going to have a chance.

That one's a little bit of a surprise. Pitt is 6-5 overall, and 5-5 in the ACC this season. I guess they just prefer to finish with a winning record vs possibly losing a bowl game and finishing .500.

I got the feeling that they've all been isolating pretty hard and seeing their families vs minor bowl where you don't even get to do the fun sightseeing stuff just won out.

I'm cynical about the bowls as rewards for the players (that's a side product at best) but it makes sense that while the full bowl experience is really fun, a limited one might seem like more of a grind (at least this year).

......Well, every time a team drops out like this, it should open up a slot in one of the "better" bowl games. Who knows, a team like LA Tech might end up in a much better bowl game as a result.

Yeah, with the 6-6 rule suspended I did think there was the risk of really bad P5 teams keeping decent G5 teams out.

As teams chose not to attend it ought to open up some opportunities.

We are far from “decent”. Most embarrassing thing I’ve seen since Bicknells last year

We really should opt out at playing in a bowl. Of course, that's assuming any bowl will want us. But I wouldn't wait, announce it now. Be proactive for a change.

I said, no BEGGED! us not to schedule BYU, but we did. I then said scheduling TCU was a mistake. Well, I'm saying now accepting a bowl bid would be a mistake.

We need a decent showing against TCU and win. If we lose, it can’t be a 35-7 type loss.
Way uglier than that. 35-7 would've been great!

I agree and wouldn't be surprised if a couple of more teams opt out.
