The first bowl matchup of 2020 is set.
SMU and UTSA will meet in a Lone Star State showdown in the @FriscoBowlGame next Saturday. The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

Nevada will face Tulane in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on December 22.
Hawaii will face Houston in the 2020 New Mexico Bowl in Frisco, Texas, on Christmas Eve (Thursday, Dec. 24). Game is at 3:30pm ET on ESPN.
Surprised only four teams opting out of bowl games. Wonder how many games will be postponed or cancelled once teams are set and covid sets in on one of the teams?
I wonder do any of these bowls have a contingency plan, you know, maybe other teams waiting in case one has to Covid out.

FAU to the Montgomery Bowl.

Unless the decision was made several days in advance, it wouldn't work.
Skippy's first year in 2013 wasn't much better. Must come in 7-year cycles (2006, 2013, 2020).
I wouldn't think so. Those teams couldn't start practice until accepting bowl bid.
it's 2020 - let everyone practice an extra week, especially since everyone is eligible
