A GOP-led Senate investigation noted 'potential criminal activity' among his transactions

Hunter Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden, confirmed there is an ongoing investigation into his taxes on Wednesday – though his complex foreign financial transactions have been considered potentially suspicious in the past.

Hunter Biden has a history of international affairs and business dealings in a number of countries, but his involvement with Ukranian energy company Burisma in 2014 has come under intense scrutiny, in addition to his involvement with nationals from China and Russia during his father’s tenure as vice president.

He was paid $50,000 per month to serve on the board of Burisma, sparking concerns about the perceptions of a conflict of interest given the fact that his father was deeply involved in U.S. policy toward Ukraine.

A Republican-led Senate investigation released in September did not identify any policies that were directly affected by Hunter Biden’s work, but did indicate Treasury records obtained showed “potential criminal activity” among his transactions.

“In particular, these documents show that Hunter Biden received millions of dollars from foreign sources as a result of business relationships that he built during the period when his father was vice president of the United States and after,” the report stated. “In addition to providing new and descriptive details about the nature, origin and extent of payments from Burisma Holdings to Hunter Biden, the documents acquired by the Committees also shed light on a much broader array of questionable financial transactions involving Hunter Biden, other members of the Biden family, and their associations with foreign nationals.”

Those foreign nationals, senators said, were identified as being consistently involved in a range of criminal activities ranging from money laundering to human trafficking.

Schweizer: Joe Biden ‘a Direct Beneficiary’ of Hunter Biden’s Foreign Deals

During an appearance on this week’s “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News Channel, Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer discussed the controversy involving President-elect Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, and his foreign business dealings.

Schweizer advised that the elder Biden is a “direct beneficiary” of Hunter Biden’s dealings. He noted Hunter Biden had no “expertise” or “connections” to the deals he made overseas other than the fact that his father was serving as vice president at the time.

“[T]his is not just a Hunter Biden story … because of what Hunter Biden himself has communicated,” Schweizer told host Maria Bartiromo. “In the emails that have come out as well, Hunter Biden is quite explicit. In one particular communication with his daughter, he’s basically complaining that he pays half of the entire family’s bills. And he includes his mother and father in that and makes reference to pops. So, the point is, is that all this enrichment that has been taking place is also flowing to Joe Biden indirectly through his son, but the fact of the matter is, he’s still a beneficiary, a direct beneficiary, of these foreign deals.”

Bartiromo brought up an email from Hunter Biden about wanting a set of keys to have an office in Washington, D.C. to be shared among the Biden family and Gongwen Dong. Schweizer explained this shows how “cozy the Bidens have been with the Chinese.”

“That is a great example, symbolic example, of how the Bidens basically have blurred their political activities and their commercial activities, and how close and chummy they are,” he argued. “Let’s keep in mind, CEFC and Chairman Ye, who is the head of that company, is linked directly to the PLA. The chairman was brought up on corruption charges. There was sort of an internal purge, as it were, in China. Some of the directors of that company have direct ties to President Xi. So this is not some random Chinese company on the fringes of Chinese political life. It’s at the center of it.”

Schweizer continued, “And this is the same entity upon which Joe Biden, the so-called big guy, was going to get 10 percent. They were literally going to share office space. They were going to House the Biden Foundation and a CEFC office in the exact same office space. So, it’s very troubling. And it speaks to the fact of how cozy the Bidens have been with the Chinese.”

NPR Ignored Hunter Biden Story Because It Was a ‘Distraction,’

Three months after publicly declining to cover the Hunter Biden corruption scandal, calling it a “distraction,” NPR has run an exposé on President-elect Joe Biden’s adopted dog.

The partially-publicly funded left-wing partisan organization infamously told its audience in an Oct. 22 post on Twitter that it would ignore the Biden email story, which had just been censored by the Big Tech platform. Three months later, after the election, Twitter has amped up its censorship and NPR is still mocking journalism.

As Twitter went after the New York Post for daring to report on a story likely to sink Joe Biden’s candidacy that month, NPR refused to stand by fellow reporters who were doing their jobs.

“We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions,” said NPR Managing Editor Terence Samuel.

Last fall, Big Tech censored a New York Post story about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop in order to try and rig the Presidential election.

Hunter Biden is now under criminal investigation for his foreign business dealings.

And now Hunter Biden just made this unbelievable admission about the contents of his laptop.

Hunter Biden sat for a jaw-dropping interview with CBS to promote his memoir Beautiful Things.

Even the friendly interviewers at CBS asked Biden about the laptop he allegedly left at a Delaware computer shop that formed the basis for the Post’s story and was later evidence in an ongoing criminal investigation.

Biden admitted the laptop could be his, but then floated nonsensical theories about how it could have been a hack from Russian intelligence or been stolen from him.

“Certainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me,” Biden stated.

CBS correspondent Anthony Mason pressed Biden on if the laptop was his.

Biden blamed his drug addiction for causing him to live in a haze where could not keep track of the events in his life.

“You read the book, and you’ll realize that I wasn’t keeping tabs on possessions very well for about a four-year period of time,” Biden stated.

Many conservatives found Biden’s answers hard to believe.

Neither Hunter Biden nor anyone on the Biden campaign or administration has ever denied that the emails the New York Post published from Hunter Biden’s laptop were forgeries.

Biden’s answers to CBS sounded like misinformation designed to distract from the fact that Biden simply does not want to confirm on the record that the laptop is his and that the contents are authentic.
