Well think of it this way if it helps. If USM would not have "choked away" a 17-point lead and if UAB had not "choked away" a 14-point lead we would have finished next-to-last in the west with a 3-6 record. In that case probably no bowl bid at all.

Wow could not sell 100 tickets. You would think we have a couple of hundred students at home for Christmas in southeast Louisiana who would buy some tickets. Plus students willing to travel to New Orleans to watch a bowl game. Does anyone have any idea how many of our students are from southeast Louisiana?

I thought we got 100 for students and 1000 for LTAC and general sales. I guess that's splitting hairs. Our church, in years past, were given 100s of tickets a year for the New Orleans Bowl just to get anybody to go. That stopped around the time ULaLa started going and people from Louisiana started going.
