Roberson was so good in the last quarter: making big, critical shots, grabbing huge rebounds, you just knew she'd come through, had that aura of past Techsters greats.

I watched it on ESPN+. The announcers on that broadcast called them Louisiana and that was their name on the screen - drove me crazy. We played well at times - just inconsistent. ULL has a good defense and was VERY quick. This would have been a better win, if ULL would have managed to beat LSU this year (that game was tight). Anyway, we are still inconsistent shooting the ball. I hope we can get that together earlier in the year this year. Just glad we won!

The two teams had similar talent levels. ULL lost a close game to LSU and were blown out by Rice. We'll likely lose by 20 plus to Rice, as well. The Owls were up by 4 at halftime at No. 10 Texas A&M yesterday before losing a close game late.

I think we'll have a winning record this season. Maybe produce 20 wins. We look like a well coached team. As was said on the broadcast yesterday, we create more off-the-ball fouls than any team in the country.

But if anyone is expecting a Top 50 team just understand we don't have that type of talent on the roster.

I'm sure you know I am, and always have been, on Brooke's bandwagon. But, she has been here long enough, these are her recruits, her players, and it's time to see some results. A 20-win season should be the very minimum accomplishment. I want more.

I understand. But regarding this season - we were picked 9th in the league in the writer's poll. That's where we are right now.

I really believe we are better than 9th in the conference. Not sure what they were thinking with that... We should come in better than 4th and have a chance in the tournament like last year before it was called off. CUSA has some decent teams this year - Rice probably the best, but we are better than 9th.

It's an inverse ratio based on number of head coaches.
