I agree. Holtz is not good at most aspects of football. He also either picks terrible coaches or micromanaged things he sucks at. That’s like 5 strikes. Almost 2 outs.

For some reason I was thinking Luke Anthony was planning to give it a go at Tech for another year after he recovers from his injury. Assuming he recovers 100%, could he be the best option for QB1 for 2021?

If he is then we are in for another long season.

I’d still like to see what he can do if given a whole game. Can he get into a groove? Can he develop game speed chemistry with his receivers? I don’t think we know those answers.

Luke Anthony started almost all of the games last season, and was yanked for poor performance in most of them. That's not the kind of groove I want to see for 4 quarters.

It was obvious last season that the FBS game is too fast for Luke Anthony and Aaron Allen. At this point I'd rather invest the time and energy into JD Head and Caleb Holstein at QB instead.

I'm nervous about him as a starter, but I think it's fair to remember that he didn't get Spring practice last year or even a normal Summer/Fall camp. It was a really weird time to be a transfer.

On the other hand, I can't imagine he'd be able to do much in Spring practice this year either, right? That was a pretty bad injury.

I'm not impressed by him, but the above is not the way it happened.

He could have been 10-10, 250 yards, and 3 TDs and Holtz would have pulled him to put his other project in.

Just like the previous 3 years of the rockstar, our biggest problem at QB is our HC.
