I believe I saw that a former Bulldog who has been an occasional topic of discussion around here is now headed off to be another type of bulldog for Mike Leach.
That is interesting. That's a lot of times to play against your former team if he ends up starting in that game.

He may have to start depending on who all is suspended from the fight in the bowl game.
2019 is by far the best using the NCAA passer rating which looks at completion percentage, yards per attempt, percentage of attempts for TDs, and percentage of attempts intercepted.
2016--160.93, high completion percentage and yards per attempt, but not nearly enough attempts to get a true rating
2017--127.52, slightly above average for a starter with fair completion percentage and yards per attempt, helped by good percentages of TD passes and INTs to attempts
2018--121.20, average for a starter with slightly better completion percentage but worse yards per attempt, hurt by low TD and high INT percentages of attempts
2019--145.88, in the expected good range for a 3rd year starter, good to very good across the board in all four categories
