I think this needs a thread of its own...

Gotta love it! Facebook is alive with conspiracy theories. They have the old, "my uncle is a former..." and such qualifiers as those to lend credibility to the accusations. Try these two on for size.

1. One poster insists that the capitol building break-in was conducted by the DOJ and DOD to seize congressperson's laptops and other documents to see who has been doing something illegal. At least one Congressman has reported a missing laptop. The guy in the horns, pictured front and center, is actually a DOJ agent...the poster says. That same guy is a known Antifa operative/member, but this poster maintains he was an undercover agent infiltrating Antifa too.

2. The break-in was a set-up, an inside job, to set up Trump's supporters. A FB poster says he is a former capitol police officer and it is impossible to get into the capitol building by force, unless it was an inside job making it possible.

A friend of mine, Janelle Tezim, was present at the US Capitol on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She is a direct eye witness. This is her testimony:

1. I was there yesterday at the Capitol building. Saw Antifa organizing on the next block from the capitol, then they walked right by me chanting and loud. members in the back saying "follow us" to those around and headed to where the barriers were removed within minutes of my passing barriers still in place.
Trump never incited violence, and it is ignorant and inciting to even suggest such a thing. I was with millions of peaceful, but determined, Americans. Period.

You should know about fake news since you have been repeating it on here for years. The reports I mentioned are from people who were actually there—not people I know personally, but friends of people I know personally. I’ll believe them over biased news media.

Facebook and Twitter have taken down every conservative...really, non-socialist...site. "Joe Biden is not my President" and "Walkaway" are both gone. Those were two of the biggest in terms of membership. And there have been a host of others.

I suppose our resident libtards will now just say I have just been "triggered" or maybe I am wearing a tinfoil hat, or some other such nonsense. But, in this case it is NOT a "conspiracy theory," it is cold hard fact. Apple has pulled the rug out from under Parler, the site Apple said had gotten too "right wing." Parler exists because many disenfranchised people flocked to it, and yes, most are conservative because we have no other Internet platform to go to. But Parler's creators themselves are Dems...surely not "right wingers." And Parler's policy is to be open and not censure based on any political leaning.

Parler is an American microblogging and social networking service launched in August 2018. It defines itself as a "non-partisan public place" because it wants to be impartial, guaranteeing security, freedom of expression and protecting the data of its users.
