We played the best 2 teams in the league in the first 2 series and split with both. Does that mean we are as good as the best teams in the league?

We are going to be up and down this year, but I still say that there are going to be a LOT of split games this year. Way to go DAWGS last night! It was a fun game to watch, but got my heart rate going fast in the second half. We knew there would be a come back, but we stuck with it and got it done! WHEW!!!!!
This was LA Tech's 1st win in WKU's Diddle Arena since the year 2000. Wow! This was indeed a big win.
LA Tech has suffered two (2) OT losses and a 1-pt loss to WKU in Diddle Arena, all in the last 4 seasons. It's a tough place for Tech to play.

Also,
Tech lost 95-91 in OT at WKU last year, on Feb 27th. WKU rallied from a 17-pt deficit in the final 5:51 to win that one.WKU is 19-16 all-time against Louisiana Tech, including an 11-5 record at home. Hilltopper head coach Rick Stansbury is 6-2 in his career against the Bulldogs.

Suffice it to say, Tech purged a ghost last night.
Strange post, TT. Never mind we were discussing UNT, and not Baylor.
....Well....ANYWAY.....back at the ranch......I mentioned UNT because they were one of the Top 3 schools (along with WKU and Marshall) unanimously picked ahead of everybody else in CUSA in the preseason polls. LA Tech was picked 7th. UNT (actually picked to finish 2nd this year) also won the men's CUSA basketball Championship last year, and have everyone returning this year. So, despite their obvious letdown against UTSA this past week, I would still rate UNT as very formidable. It's going to take everything we've got to beat UNT twice.
