#52. Remember that number. LA Tech's hired gun staff would be wise to build a strong marketing campaign around Grubbs and #52 for the next 3 years. The coaches can build a lot of unity and positivity around this All American, and our future defense. Tech officials should give away 52 Jersey's with #52 of them, at every home game in 2021. Give Tech fans something --and someone-- a name, a face, and a number, to rally around.

It's not often a school like Tech gets a young man this talented, this early in their college career. Kenneth Dixon was definitely combat ready when he arrived in Ruston as a freshman. But before Dixon, I think you have to go back to Luke McCown, who also had a great freshman year back in the year 2000. So, that's 3 "fantastic freshmen" in the last 20 years? Yeah, these 3 guys are in a class all by themselves, and we need to be smart enough to recognize that for Grubbs.
