Tech (9-5, 4-4 C-USA) will host USM (5-5, 3-5 C-USA) Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center in the first of two games over the next three days. The two teams will face off Saturday afternoon in Hattiesburg for the second contest.

We need to beat USM to keep a shot for a likely winning season, now standing 9-5 overall and 4-4 in CUSA.
Our conference schedule was front loaded with weaker CUSA teams, with our conference opponents played to date 10-20 in CUSA (6-20 without their wins over us). Looming ahead are Rice, NT, MTSU who are collectively 18-2 in conference play. Sweep USM and we've got a decent chance at a winning season.

Did a quick check, Brooke's career coaching record hovers around .550 winning %. Spoon was 99-71 as head coach, that's 58% and Kurt Budke was at 83% winning in his 3 years here, yet he caught a lot of grief from some of our fans.
